Sleepy time daylight just breaking.
Wakey Wakey!
Morning time! The sun is shining and its a nice day
We are using a 17 in disc floor sander now to get rid of the rest of the glue and stains.
Here is the floor before applying the first coat of polyurethane.
Here is the floor with just the first coat or polyurethane.
We are using adhesive remover to get this glue off the floor and it is coming off, very messy.
This is much easier than continuing to scrape or sand, the sander was getting all gummed up.
We are going to try some hydrogen peroxide to bleach the floor, this is a test.
This Blue Carpet is nailed, stapled and glued on, they made sure this was never going to come loose ever, it lasted a lifetime.
We filled up a lot of garbage bags and still lots of glued on rubber carpet pad to remove. We found the multi tool with a scraper blade worked.
Ah the Blue Room with the Blue Wood Paneling. Paint the wood work, get some phony blue wood paneling and blue shag carpet, psychedelic!
This is so toxic we have to wear masks and it is very dusty and noisey, need ear plugs too.
We started to sand off the rest of the glue.We got pretty far and decided to get a drum sander.
Here we are just starting to cut through the pad that was stuck on the beautiful Maple Floor.
Good Morning. Nice and sunny, with the big windows to brighten up your day.
